Alpha Luminelle: Aniimo's Lightning Boss at Tideblossom Coast

Alpha Luminelle is the Lightning (Electric)-type Alpha at Tideblossom Coast — the coastal endgame Alpha, and another Star Sand farmer.

Location

South of the Tideblossom Coast Bloom. Tideblossom is a late region, so this is a high-level fight — come leveled, or the Lightning pressure will end the run fast.

Weaknesses and counters

Luminelle is Lightning, weak to Ice and Dark (both 1.6x). That makes a Dark attacker ideal — and if you have been raising Celestis/Stellarys or Inferlupa, you already own the counter. An Ice unit is the alternative. Note Lightning resists Lightning, Ice, and Earth on defense, so do not lean on Earth here. The exact rows are in the Aniimo Type Chart.

The fight

Luminelle hits fast and hard. Bring a Break unit for the guard window, a Heal for sustain, and your Dark/Ice damage to exploit the weakness. Terrain at the coast can complicate positioning, so learn the move set before committing your Ultra.

The catch

Defeat, then a timed capture window. Secure with an Aniipod Ultra or Sparkling Cube (100%); each attempt costs 30 Primegy and standard pods are unreliable. Full rule in the Aniimo Capture Mechanics guide.

The reward

Like Rookey, Luminelle pays Star Sand x2 and Star Dust x5 on first clear, plus the standard bundle (Glimmer, Safaris, Irisalis Petal, regional Lumin Amber). Star Sand/Star Dust drive Capability Awakening, so Luminelle is worth repeating once the region is comfortable.
