Alpha Stellarys: The Dark Alpha of the Forest of Falling Stars

Alpha Stellarys is the Dark-type Alpha roaming a star-shaped grassland in the Forest of Falling Stars. Here is where to find it and how to break it.

Alpha Stellarys is the Dark Alpha of the Forest of Falling Stars — the region’s signature night-sky creature, blown up to boss size. It is one of the easier Alphas to find once you unfog the map, but the fight itself has a trick that catches players who only read the element row.

Location

Head north of the Outpost in the Forest of Falling Stars and look for the star-shaped grassland in the center of the area. Stellarys roams inside that clearing. If the marker area looks empty, sweep the whole star pattern — the clearing is bigger than it looks on the minimap, and the grass hides the boss’s outline. Regional details are in the Forest of Falling Stars map guide.

Weaknesses and counters

Stellarys is Dark: it takes 1.6x from Light and Wind, and its only defensive resist is Earth. That makes your Light starter (Helion or Lunara) the natural answer — this is the Alpha your starter was practically built for. A Wind attacker is the backup. Do not bring Earth into this fight; you will watch the numbers crawl.

The fight

Two things make Stellarys more than a stat check:

  • Psychic star projectiles — ranged attacks that track. Sidestep late; dodging early eats the homing adjust.
  • Cloak teleports — it blinks out of position mid-combo, so committed lunges whiff. Bait the teleport, then punish the landing.

It is aggressive like every Alpha, so bring a Break unit to open the guard window and a Heal for the burst phases. Fight summary in the Aniimo Combat Guide.

The team

  • Light DPS — your starter, or any Light carry you have raised.
  • Wind DPS — backup element coverage.
  • Break — Celestis or Budclaw style pressure.
  • Heal — a Water healer doubles as Fire coverage for the region’s wild spawns.

The catch and the reward

First clear pays the standard bundle: Night Stone x5, Glimmer x50, Safaris x500, Irisalis Petal x1, and Lumin Amber x1, with Night Stone as the repeat-farm material. After the kill you get a timed capture window — secure it with an Aniipod Ultra or Sparkling Cube (100%); the base Alpha catch rate is far too low to gamble on, and each attempt costs 30 Primegy. Full rules in the Capture Mechanics guide.

Where it fits

Stellarys is a mid-game checklist boss whose Night Stones feed the deeper progression systems. Pair it with Alpha Rookey and Alpha Turbo on the same Dark-countering run, and see the Boss Guides overview for how the Alphas sequence against the story.
