Aniimo Consumables Guide: What to Use, What to Save, What to Ignore

Aniipods, Lumin Amber, Prismana Crystals and Star Dust all compete for your attention. Here is what each consumable does and the order to spend them in.

Aniimo’s bag fills up fast, and half the items look equally important. They are not. This guide covers what each consumable does, and the priority order that keeps your account moving.

Capture items

  • Aniipod — the standard pod. Fine for wild catches; unreliable against Alphas, where the base catch rate sits around 6%.
  • Aniipod Ultra — guarantees the catch. The game hands you a free one early; spend it on a target worth guaranteeing.
  • Sparkling Cube — guarantees the catch, sets potential to perfect, and converts the target to Sparkling. The premium item, and the reason to check aptitude before you throw one.
  • Sparkling Sigil — converts a normal Aniimo you already have into Sparkling.

Rule: standard pods for wild spawns, Ultra or Cube for Alphas and Prismana forms. Full capture maths in the Capture Mechanics guide.

The resource you will run out of: Lumin Amber

Lumin Amber is the long-game bottleneck. It fuels the regional Branches at set thresholds — roughly 30 to unlock Nurture, 60 to unlock weather intervention, and 120 to open the underground routes to the deep Alphas. Sources: repairing Vein nodes in sanctums, and defeating Alphas and Omegas. Do not fritter it; every Amber has an unlock waiting for it. Branch mechanics are in the Homeland guide and Prismana guide.

Progression materials

  • Star Dust, Star Sand, Starcryst Essence — spend these in Capability Awakening to fill the aptitude ceiling. Allocations can be reset for free per community data, so experimenting is cheap; the ceiling itself is not.
  • Capaseed — save twenty; they exchange for one Capafruit, the one-use aptitude-ceiling fruit. Only feed it to a keeper.
  • Dewdrop Crystal — Resonance star-ups. Alpha Tubster is the repeatable source.
  • Elemental stones — Resonance ascensions; dropped by their matching Alphas.
  • Phenomena Crystal — the high-stage Resonance material, added at the later ascension stages.
  • Vein Essence — buys extra daily Nurture uses once the free ones are spent.

Event and special items

  • Prismana Crystal — instantly triggers a Prismana Flow when fed to a Branch. Daily use cap, needs the region’s Silver Badge. Only one is confirmed obtainable right now (Branch progression reward), so do not waste it on the weekly Vein Abundance target — that event is easy enough on its own.
  • Veinlit Fruit — a Bloom offering that speeds the Prismatic Energy gauge during Nurture.
  • Elemental Shards — Nurture offerings that attract specific-element Aniimo; gathered from pots, stumps and mounds while exploring.
  • Rift Beacon — used inside a Vein Rift to lure out a Legendary Aniimo. Sourced from the Tracing the Trail event and the Companion Handbook.
  • Awakening Honey — revives the Dormant Legendary Giga-Egg; exchange at the Egg Heist shop.

Currencies

Primegy pays for boss attempts — 30 per Alpha, 50 per Omega — and accrues from normal play, so it paces content rather than blocking it. Safaris, Glimmer and Credits are the shop currencies; Credits cover everyday purchases, Glimmer and Safaris cover the rarer stock.

The priority order

  1. Lumin Amber into Branch thresholds — it gates systems, not just stats.
  2. Capture items saved for Alpha and Prismana targets.
  3. Progression materials into your one main carry.
  4. Everything else as it comes.

Spending in that order is most of what “playing efficiently” means in this game. For the daily routine that keeps these flowing, see the Daily and Weekly Checklist.
