Celestis: Aniimo's Dark Breaker and Stellarys' Base
Celestis is a Dark, Break-role Aniimo that evolves into Stellarys under the right weather. Learn how to use it and where it fits your early team.
Every early team needs a Break unit, and Celestis is one of the cleanest Dark picks you can get — which also makes it a great partner for a Light starter.
The basics
- Element: Dark
- Role: Break
- Identity: a magic-leaning Dark creature built to strip enemy guards
Celestis is a Break creature first. Its job is not to out-damage your DPS — it is to pop the toughness bar so your damage dealers get their window. If you have read the Aniimo Combat Guide, this is the unit that makes the Break gauge actually matter.
Why Dark pairs with Light
Your starter is Light, which is strong into Wind and Dark but resisted by Lightning and Light. Celestis covers the opposite corner: Dark hits Grass, Lightning, and Light for super-effective damage. That overlap means a Light starter + Dark breaker combo covers a lot of the chart together. Check the Aniimo Type Chart to see how the two complement each other.
The evolution: into Stellarys
Celestis evolves into Stellarys, and the path is weather-gated — Stellarys’ Rainy Form appears when the conditions are right (rainy weather). The evolved form and its Alpha are covered separately in the Stellarys guide. The key takeaway: invest in Celestis early and the evolution comes to you through weather, not a grind wall.
Where it fits
In the standard opening four from the Aniimo Early Team Build, Celestis is the recommended Break slot — it covers your starter’s weak matchups and opens guard windows. That dual value is why it shows up in so many early-game team suggestions.
A note on forms
As with all environmental-form creatures, exact stats and any form-specific typing should be confirmed in your Aniilog — the game is the source of truth there, and values shift between patches. What does not change is Celestis’ role: a Dark breaker you will keep using well past the tutorial.
