Russet Highlands in Aniimo: Highlands Guide (Lv45-50)
Russet Highlands is Aniimo's Lv45-50 highland region with Alpha Rookey, Omega Infergon and the Sword of Bravery. Here is what to catch up there.
Russet Highlands is high, dry country — and it holds two of the most important fights in the game. Community map data puts the band at roughly Lv45–50, and the region is the anchor for the Helmet line’s evolutions plus one Omega boss standing guard over a legendary sword.
What lives here
- Jawling — the base of a three-stage line that ends in the flying dragon Infergon. The only way to get one is to raise that line: Jawling to Helmwhelp to Infergon, with the final jump at level 48.
- Helmut — the other highland native, and the source of two very different evolutions: the knight Pawney (needs the Sword of Bravery pulled at level 45) and the brawler Rookey (level 45 plus the Unwavering Rampart talent and a Counter inside Ballistic Guard).
- Helgon — Wind Break with Fly Lv.2, which makes the highlands a lot more forgiving once you have one.
Full conditions per branch are in the Evolution Lines guide.
Alpha Rookey
The region’s Alpha is Rookey (Dark) — the armored hunter that leans on punch combos and ground smashes, and gets far more dangerous once it curls into Ball Form. Community tracking places it east of the First Sight Sanctum — verify the marker in-game. It drops Star Sand and Star Dust, the materials that feed Capability Awakening, which makes this the single most repeat-worthy Alpha for long-term progression. Fight framework in the Alpha Rookey guide.
Omega Infergon
North of here waits Omega Infergon, the Fire Omega that guards the territory where the Sword of Bravery rests — the same sword Helmut must pull to become Pawney. Like all Omegas it is quest-gated: the marker stays dark until you complete the Russet Highlands Journey “Warrior”, and each attempt costs 50 Primegy with a weekly refresh. General rules in Boss Guides.
Highlands notes
- Climb or fly. The highlands reward a Fly or Climb Aniimo in your explore tab — Celestis, Chirpi and Helgon are all documented options. Mechanics in the Movement Abilities guide.
- This is evolution country. Come with Jawling and Helmut already leveled if you want to leave with Infergon, Pawney or Rookey progress.
- Star materials matter. Rookey’s Star Sand and Star Dust are not filler — save them for Capability Awakening rather than selling.
Where to next
West to Zephyrus Landbridge for the Magmarex line, or hold here and farm Rookey between daily activities. Regional routing in the Map and Spawn Guide.
