The Mistwoods in Aniimo: Swamp Region Guide (Lv35-37)

The Mistwoods is Aniimo's Lv35-37 swamp region with Leafy, Omega Tuckin, hidden ponds and poison mist. Here is what to catch and what to watch for.

The Mistwoods does not want you here. An off-key song echoes between rotting branches, the deep swamp breathes bubbles and poisonous miasma, and glimmer fruits glow like glass lamps to guide lost travellers back out. Community map data puts the band at roughly Lv35–37 — a narrow but nasty stretch between the ridge and the coast.

What lives here

  • Leafy — elegant and dignified, living in ponds blanketed with lotus leaves. Once just a rock that came to life after long company with the Baleetle that cares for it.
  • Witchin — the region’s second documented resident.
  • Water and Wind helpers — community habitat tracking also lists Pranky, Skippy and Flutternym in the Mistwoods. Pranky and Skippy both swim, which matters a lot in a swamp.

Alpha Leafy

An Alpha Leafy (Grass) is documented at a hidden pond blanketed with lily pads, with community tracking placing it northeast of the Breezy Plains Branch — the exact spot is not fully documented, so check your in-game marker. Community sources list Branch Sprout Stone as its drop. This fight also gates a fan-favourite evolution: raising Pranky into Leafy requires defeating Alpha Leafy, hitting level 20, and standing on the giant lotus leaf where the Alpha resides when the evolution triggers. Details in the Evolution Lines guide.

Omega Tuckin

The Mistwoods hides the region’s Omega boss, Tuckin — a slumbering giant beneath the land that shields itself and swings gigantic hammers at anyone who disturbs its sleep. Omega bosses do not roam: the marker stays dark until you finish the region’s Journey quest “Binding Oath”, and each attempt costs 50 Primegy (double an Alpha). Once unlocked, it refreshes weekly. General framework in Boss Guides.

Swamp survival

  • Bring a swimmer. Water is everywhere, and water auto-twines you into a swimming Aniimo only if you have caught one. Susuta, Popota, Panpanta and Skippy all qualify.
  • Respect the miasma. The region reads as hazardous — keep your team healed between fights rather than chain-pulling everything you see. Role basics in the Combat Guide.
  • Night forms exist. Flutternym’s Night Form is documented as time-locked; switch time from the function menu instead of waiting. How-to in the Weather and Phenomena guide.

Why bother

Beyond Leafy and Tuckin, the Mistwoods is the natural stop between Beast Fang Ridge and Echoback Landing — a good place to top up your roster with swimmers and healers before the coast. Region routing in the Map and Spawn Guide.
