Omega Sherro in Aniimo: The Coastline Duelist of Echoback Landing

Omega Sherro guards a northeast island in Echoback Landing. Here is the Stars and the Knight gate, the water-terrain trick, and how to break the duelist.

Omega Sherro is the Water Omega of Echoback Landing — a cute sword-and-shell fighter that will absolutely split your team in half. It sits on a northeast island, northwest of the Beachside Sandbars Bloom, and like every Omega the marker does nothing until its Journey is done.

Unlocking the fight

  • Finish the Journey Stars and the Knight in Echoback Landing.
  • There are two Sherros in the game files: the Aged version fought during the main story (Ancient Sacred Fragrance, which also drops a Shell Sword), and the Young Omega this Journey unlocks. Same attack pattern either way — the second fight is a rematch, not a new boss.
  • Cost is 50 Primegy per attempt, weekly refresh once unlocked.
  • If the island looks empty after the quest, advance the in-game clock to day. The questline has a history of spawn quirks — a past patch fixed cases of the related Alpha not appearing — so re-check before assuming you missed a step.

What you are fighting

Sherro is Water: it takes 1.6x from Lightning, Ice and Grass, and resists Fire, Water, Earth and Dark. Bring Lightning, Ice or Grass damage.

The real difficulty dial is terrain. Its trait Tidal Heart boosts Water damage while it stands in water or has just absorbed it, and most of its kit scales the same way. If the arena lets you reposition, fight it inland — the biggest damage reduction available costs no team slot.

Its script:

  • Torrent Blade / Flowing Water Blade — the giant water sword and the three-slash combo. Wide, telegraphed. Dodge late.
  • Tidal Surge — water columns everywhere. It leaves itself wide open afterwards; that is your punish window.
  • Hydro Jet — tracked pressurised stream. Get behind it during this; the back is vulnerable and BREAK-able.
  • Shelly — a shell companion shields Sherro and reflects attacks. Kill Shelly first or your damage boomerangs.

Sherro is slow, so counterattacks are free — the classic mistake is dodging early and eating the tail of the slash anyway.

The team

  • Lightning / Ice / Grass DPS — Thornblade is the community favourite.
  • BREAK — Pomawk-style pressure for the Tidal Surge and Hydro Jet windows.
  • Support — Melloblum-type sustain. This fight runs longer than you expect if you let the terrain bonus ride.

Rewards

First clear pays the usual bundle: Safaris x800, Glimmer x100, regional Lumin Amber, Star Dust x10, Star Sand x4, plus title-scaled rewards. Drop specifics are community-sourced — check the live chest preview before you claim.

The real prize is the evolution: the win unlocks Sheldon into Sherro at level 39 with a Wave Stone.

The one thing to remember

Stars and the Knight, then the island. Lightning, Ice or Grass; kill Shelly; drag the fight off the water; punish Tidal Surge and Hydro Jet. Verify the exact pin in-game — community coordinates exist, but markers have shifted between builds.
