Battlefield 6 Eastwood Map Guide: Season 1 California Streets

Navigate Battlefield 6's Eastwood—the Season 1 Southern California map, its layered space, key objectives, vehicle lanes, and attack-defense tactics.

Eastwood rounded out Battlefield 6’s Season 1, another Southern California map but leaning more suburban and street-fight than Blackwell Fields. It’s vehicle-capable with a strong infantry core, and yes — it has that famous golf cart.

Mode fit

Good in Conquest and Breakthrough. The street grid gives infantry room to brawl while armor works the wider roads. Keep your squad flexible between foot mobiles and crew. The Conquest & Breakthrough tips help manage the flow.

Three layers of space

  • Air: moderate. Attack helis can work the streets but the buildings break sightlines; jets are rarer here than on open maps.
  • Ground: the road grid and open lots. Armor runs the main streets; infantry owns the blocks.
  • Interior: homes and commercial buildings are the CQB traps — clear before you commit a push.

Key objectives

Flags straddle the open and built-up zones. The central flags are the tug-of-war; the outer ones are easier to flip but leave you exposed to flank caps. Don’t over-invest in the middle and lose the edges.

Vehicle lanes

Tanks and IFVs belong on the broader roads, using buildings as hull-down cover. The golf cart is a fun quad-seat transport for quick squad hops — not a weapon, but great for rotating a fireteam. An Engineer screen is still mandatory for real armor. See the tank guide.

Attacking

Use buildings to break line of sight and leapfrog toward the center. Smoke crossings across open lots, and don’t walk streets a rooftop Recon can see. Squad up — the squad guide applies.

Defending

Hold the structures around each flag and pre-aim the street approaches. Deployable Cover at open entries slows attackers; a Recon Motion Sensor on the flanks buys early warning. Defended buildings are nasty to clear.

Eastwood’s Season 1 sibling is Blackwell Fields. For pure infantry nearby, try Empire State.

Class and loadout notes

As of Season 5, the safe default is Assault or Support for objective work, Engineer whenever armor is in play, and Recon where the sightlines favor marksmen. On vehicle maps force an Engineer into every squad; on infantry-only maps drop the repair habit and lean on Support revives. Build your gun with the attachment guide and confirm your role in the classes guide.
