Battlefield 6 Manhattan Bridge Map Guide: Brooklyn Crossing Lanes

Cross Battlefield 6's Manhattan Bridge—the Brooklyn launch map, its layered space, key objectives, vehicle routes, and attack-defense angles that work.

Manhattan Bridge is one of Battlefield 6’s most iconic launch maps — a Brooklyn crossing where the fight funnels over water and through tight approach roads. It’s a vehicle map with a brutal infantry core.

Mode fit

Strong in Conquest and Breakthrough. The bridge itself is a natural chokepoint that creates desperate close-quarters fighting, while the approach roads give armor room to work. The Conquest & Breakthrough tips help you manage the choke.

Three layers of space

  • Air: the open water and skyline let helis and jets operate, but the bridge structure breaks sightlines and funnels air into kill zones.
  • Ground: the bridge deck and approach streets. The deck is exposed and deadly; the approaches are where armor and infantry mix.
  • Under / structure: the bridge’s lower levels and support pillars give infantry covered approaches to flank the deck fight.

Key objectives

Flags sit at the bridge ends and along the approaches. The bridge-center flag is the prize and the trap — controlling it wins the map but exposes you to fire from both shores. The approach flags are easier but let the enemy set up crossfires.

Vehicle lanes

Armor runs the approach roads, not the bridge deck — a tank on the open span is a sitting duck for air and AT. IFVs can push squads toward the bridge mouth. Watch the sky; the water exposure means aircraft will hunt your armor, so bring MAA. See the tank guide.

Attacking

Take the lower structure routes to flank the deck rather than charging across it. Smoke the crossing, and use the pillars for cover. Squad up so the bridge push doesn’t get picked apart — the squad guide is your friend.

Defending

Hold both bridge mouths and pre-aim the deck. A defender with a mounted gun under the span can wreck an attacker’s crossing. Recon overwatch from the skyline buys early warning of pushes.

For more Brooklyn action, the infantry-only Empire State is the companion map.

Class and loadout notes

As of Season 5, the safe default is Assault or Support for objective work, Engineer whenever armor is in play, and Recon where the sightlines favor marksmen. On vehicle maps force an Engineer into every squad; on infantry-only maps drop the repair habit and lean on Support revives. Build your gun with the attachment guide and confirm your role in the classes guide.
