Battlefield 6 Mirak Valley Map Guide: The Launch Roster's Largest Map
Tame Battlefield 6's Mirak Valley—the largest launch map in Tajikistan, its vast layers, key objectives, vehicle lanes, and attack-defense strategy.
Mirak Valley is the biggest map Battlefield 6 shipped at launch — a sprawling Tajikistan valley where distance, vehicles, and patience decide everything. Sprinting solo here is a death sentence; logistics win.
Mode fit
A Conquest and Breakthrough showcase. The scale means foot mobiles take forever to rotate, so vehicles and spawning on squad beacons are how you actually move. Read Conquest & Breakthrough tips for the flow.
Three layers of space
- Air: enormous. Jets and helis own the sky, and air superiority can shut down ground pushes. Bring MAA and stingers or suffer.
- Ground: long valley roads and open fields with scattered cover. The sightlines are brutal — pre-aim, don’t peek-and-hope.
- Covered routes: use the vegetation, dips, and structures to move without painting yourself across the valley.
Key objectives
Flags are spread far apart, so each is a mini-battle rather than a cluster brawl. The central objectives bridge the map’s halves; losing them strands your team on one side. Holding one flag with a spawn beacon lets your squad project across the valley.
Vehicle lanes
This is armor country. Tanks and IFVs run the main roads; use terrain as hull-down cover and never cross open ground unsupported. IFVs ferry squads between distant flags — the single best way to keep map control. The vehicles guide and tank guide are mandatory.
Attacking
Leapfrog flag to flag using vehicles and beacons; don’t foot-march into the open. Smoke your crossings and suppress with armor before infantry clears. Coordinate air to knock out enemy tanks.
Defending
Hold objectives with a mounted gun and an Engineer on the armor lane. Pre-aim the long approaches and let attackers bleed crossing them. A Recon on overwatch turns the valley into a kill zone.
For another wide vehicle map, see Operation Firestorm. Infantry-only players should look at Empire State.
Class and loadout notes
As of Season 5, the safe default is Assault or Support for objective work, Engineer whenever armor is in play, and Recon where the sightlines favor marksmen. On vehicle maps force an Engineer into every squad; on infantry-only maps drop the repair habit and lean on Support revives. Build your gun with the attachment guide and confirm your role in the classes guide.
