Battlefield 6 Saints Quarter Map Guide: Infantry-Only Gibraltar Old Town
Fight clean in Battlefield 6's Saints Quarter—the infantry-only Gibraltar old town launch map, its layers, key objectives, and attack-defense tactics.
Saints Quarter is Battlefield 6’s other infantry-only launch map, set in Gibraltar’s cramped old town. No vehicles, no repairs — just tight stone streets and brutal close-quarters. If you love gunfights and hate tanks, welcome home.
Mode fit
Best in Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill. The small footprint means constant contact; there’s no quiet flank like on the big maps. The Conquest & Breakthrough tips still apply, just denser.
Three layers of space
- Air (vertical): no aircraft, but the old town’s balconies and rooftops are your high ground — Recons and flankers use them to drop on street fights.
- Ground: the narrow streets and plazas are the contested core, where squads collide at point-blank range.
- Interior: shops, alleys, and courtyards are the CQB traps. Clear corners; never push a doorway your squad hasn’t covered.
Key objectives
Flags cluster in the dense town center, so they bleed tickets fast and flip often. The outer flags are easier to grab but expose you to flank caps from the alleys. Holding the central plaza lets you pressure both sides — but it’s also where everyone dies.
No vehicles — pure positioning
With no armor, the match is about angles and map knowledge. Use alleys to flank rather than charging the main street. Smoke crosses open plazas; Deployable Cover holds a courtyard. Engineers lose their repair job here, so class balance shifts toward Assault, Support, and Recon.
Attacking
Flank through alleys and balconies to avoid the street crossfire. A squad that owns a rooftop controls the plaza below. Pre-nade corners and don’t bunch in a doorway. Drag revives matter since there’s no vehicle evac — see the movement guide.
Defending
Choke the alley mouths and stairwells. A Recon Motion Sensor at the plaza entrance warns of pushes; a mounted LMG from a balcony punishes the open approach. Defended stone corners are nightmares to clear.
Saints Quarter’s vehicle-backed Gibraltar sibling is Iberian Offensive. Another infantry-only launch map is Empire State.
Class and loadout notes
As of Season 5, the safe default is Assault or Support for objective work, and Recon where the sightlines favor marksmen. With no vehicles here, drop the Engineer repair mindset and lean on Support revives and ammo. Build your gun with the attachment guide and confirm your role in the classes guide.
