Exiled Survivors: Mammon the Undying — Demon Lord Guide
Mammon the Undying is the undead demon lord in Exiled Survivors. Why this fight rewards total damage over the whole encounter, not burst.
Mammon is the lord that exposes burst builds. The Undying is the undead-themed fight of the Nine Circles — a straight sustained-damage race where the name on the title is the mechanic.
Where Mammon sits in the endgame
One of the nine demon lords in the Nine Circles of Hell, the final region, with an achievement for the kill like every other lord. The fight order is not fully documented — check in-game.
Reading the title
“The Undying” tells you the shape of the fight: a long health bar and no interest in dying quickly. The fight rewards total damage dealt over the whole encounter rather than burst windows. Bleeding and damage-over-time builds shine here — the Bleeding damage tag exists precisely for this kind of marathon (see the damage types guide). If your build is all burst, Mammon is the lord that exposes it.
The counter framework
- Stack, do not spike. Damage-over-time and bleeding effects keep working between your casts, which is exactly what a long fight wants.
- Sustain the whole way. A marathon build needs healing and defense investment, not just numbers.
- Damage while moving. You will be walking for most of this fight; automatic skills keep firing (see the skill system guide).
- Clear adds for lanes, not for kills. The trash matters only because it blocks your movement.
Pre-fight checklist
- A damage-over-time or bleeding core, with Focus tiers finished — the Focus passives guide covers the tiers.
- Sustain relics; the build compendium has the priority order.
- Movement Focus for the long middle of the fight.
- Patience. This is the longest feeling lord fight in the gauntlet.
What wipes players
- Burst-only builds that dump everything in one window and then tickle the bar.
- No sustain. Long fights convert chip damage into deaths.
- Tunneling the lord and getting buried by adds mid-marathon.
The one thing to remember
Mammon is a patience check. The Undying is not testing your mechanics; he is testing whether your build deals damage when you are not looking at it. All nine lords are covered in the demon lords guide.
