Exiled Survivors: Satan, King of Hell — Final Boss Guide

Satan the King of Hell is the last demon lord in Exiled Survivors. What to expect from the final Nine Circles fight, and what to bring into it.

Satan closes the game. He is the ninth demon lord, sitting at the bottom of the Nine Circles of Hell, and he is the fight every other lord was training you for. If you are reading this before the Elemental Plane feels consistent, go back — Satan does not teach, he examines.

Where Satan sits in the endgame

The region chain runs Wilds → Cold Death → Swamp → Dunes → Manor → Mountain → Volcano → Elemental Plane → Nine Circles of Hell. Satan is the final encounter of the final region. All 34 Steam achievements are boss kills, and his is the last name on the list.

What the title tells you

“King of Hell” is the only lord title that promises nothing specific — and that is the point. Expect a combined kit: floor zones, projectiles, slams, and probably patterns borrowed from the lords before him. Treat him as a mechanics exam, not an elemental puzzle. The exact move list is not fully documented — check in-game, so plan for versatility rather than one counter.

The universal framework

Three habits carry this fight:

  • Keep moving, always. Wide circles, no stops. Every death that feels cheap is a player who stood still to finish one more cast.
  • Clear adds to keep lanes open. You need room to walk; a cluttered arena removes your only defensive tool.
  • Punish recovery windows. After a big telegraphed attack, commit hard. Between attacks, play safe.

It is a damage race with a clock, same as every lord — runs are 15–20 minutes and this is the longest one. Sustain beats burst here.

Pre-fight checklist

  • One armor-break source. The metal-phase lesson from Lucifer applies to everything this late.
  • One strong single-target skill. Your horde clear does nothing against a lord.
  • Movement Focus and Defense Focus maxed, or close to it.
  • A committed element with Focus tiers finished — see the Focus passives guide.
  • Relics that match your element over higher-rarity relics in the wrong one.

What wipes players

  • Greeding one extra cast after the tell.
  • A spread build with no multipliers. The skills tier list exists because late-game damage is about depth, not width.
  • Panic-dodging into the second attack of a combination instead of walking out of the first.

The one thing to remember

There is no trick to Satan. The demon lords guide calls the gauntlet a build check, and Satan is the final audit: no armor break, no single target, no sustain, no movement — he finds whichever one you skipped. Beat him clean and the game is done.
