Lepic Build Guide — Fire Demolition and Boss Nuke in The First Descendant
Lepic is the fire demolition Descendant in The First Descendant — here is his Overkill boss build, Burning Mechanics reactor, modules, and best weapons.
Lepic is the guy with the grenades and the big red button. He’s a Fire Descendant built around Overkill — a shell that sits on the ground and melts bosses — plus AoE grenades for clearing. Easy to pick up, satisfying to master.
What Lepic actually does
Overclock (skill) boosts all Skill ATK and adds Burn to Grenade and Overkill. Traction Grenade pulls enemies together, and Overkill (ult) fires a shell that lingers and deals constant damage — your boss nuke. Close Call (passive) can save you from a lethal hit. The bread-and-butter is: Overclock, then Grenade/Overkill, and roll to cancel Overkill’s startup animation so you fire faster.
Best weapon pairing
Enduring Legacy is the top pick — it applies Burn and rewards hitting Burning targets, which is Lepic’s whole kit (unlocks at Mastery Rank 15). Tamer is a strong boss machine gun, Greg’s Reversed Fate bombards shielded enemies with Burn, and Sigvore’s Proof launcher sticks bombs that Burn. Thunder Cage is the mobbing crutch.
Reactor + skill match
Grenade and Overkill are both Fire and Tech, so a Burning Mechanics reactor (Fire + Tech) is the match. Chase Tech Skill Power Boost, Fire Skill Power Boost, Skill Critical Hit Rate/Damage, and Additional Skill ATK vs Colossus. Burning Singularity works as a fallback.
Core modules
Fire Specialist, Fire Master, Focus on Fire, Skill Insight, Skill Concentration, Emergency Measures, Front Lines, Fire Syncytium, Skill Extension (longer Overkill uptime), and Battle of Stamina. Firearm Master is the key module — it spikes Skill Power whenever Overkill is active. Spear and Shield or Iron Defense round out defense.
External components
The Slayer set is the default (4-piece gives a big Skill Power bonus). If MP is tight, a 2x Annihilation + 2x Active Volcano split helps. Cores: Max MP, MP Recovery, HP, DEF.
