Wall Crasher Guide – The 8-Player Colossus You Queue Every Hour

How Wall Crasher works in The First Descendant: the hourly Axion Plains spawn, the Dazed mechanic, and the Trigger Module loot that makes it worth your time.

Wall Crasher is the biggest fight in The First Descendant right now: an eight-player Colossus that drops some of the best endgame loot in the game. It lives in Axion Plains, and if you have not pushed there yet, you need Hard Difficulty unlocked and Mastery Rank 15, which our tfd-mastery-rank-guide covers.

When and How It Spawns

Wall Crasher appears every hour, on the hour, in Axion Plains. You have five minutes to walk into the central structure and load into the instance with seven other players. Miss the window and you wait for the next hour – though you can still slip in via a party invite. Two Field Colossi spawn before it as a warm-up, then the main event starts.

The Fight Itself

The boss has identical resistance to every attribute, so bring whatever Descendant and weapon you damage hardest with – there is no elemental weakness to exploit. The one real mechanic is the purple pillars: they create AoE damage zones, and when you destroy all of them the boss goes Dazed and takes bonus damage. That is your burst window. The fight is long but not mechanically punishing, and you do not fail at zero personal deaths – you just respawn with reduced revival effects, so don’t panic.

Who to Bring

Serena is the obvious pick and our tfd-serena-build explains why she dominates. Nell, Ines, Sharen, and even Yujin for sustain all show up. As long as a few Serenas are present, the boss folds fast.

The Loot

Wall Crasher pays out 4–22 Trigger Modules, four of each Ballistic Tracker, Dimension Destroyer, and Circulation external components, Tier 8 weapon cores, Tier 10 external component cores, 50 core amplifiers, and a pile of gold and Kuiper. Clearing it also feeds the Dimensional Breach Stabilization meter, which grants server-wide buffs like extra Void Axium rewards and Unique Arche Factor EXP. For the broader Axion loop, see tfd-raven-guide, and for what to do with those cores, read tfd-reactor-external-components.
