Lost Ark Bard T4 Build — Desperate Salvation Support

Bard is the highest-output healer in Lost Ark and one of the most wanted supports in T4. She brings a permanent Attack Power buff, a Brand, party shields, damage reduction, and the strongest raw healing in the game. The trade-off is a squishier frame and tighter meter management than Paladin.

Role in the party

You keep the group alive with shields (Wind of Music, Guardian Tune, Rhapsody of Light) and a big AOE shield from Symphonia, while maintaining the AP buff through Heavenly Tune and Sonic Vibration. Your identity (Serenade meter) is spent on Serenade of Courage (damage buff) or Serenade of Salvation (heal) depending on group HP.

T4 build path

The class engraving Desperate Salvation sits in the Ark Passive Enlightenment tree. It supercharges your Salvation heal, so almost every support Bard takes it. Combat engravings: Awakening, Magick Stream, Expert, Drops of Ether, plus a flexible 5th — usually Max MP Increase (mana is a real problem on Bard), Heavy Armor (survivability while learning), or Vital Point Hit for stagger checks.

Ark Passive direction

• Evolution: cap Specialization, dump the rest into Swiftness. Bard wants fast cooldowns and quick casts for bubble ults.
• Enlightenment: Desperate Salvation keystone plus the nodes that boost your shielding and buff efficiency.
• Leap: the Hyper Awakening (Technique Aria) is a massive party damage buff — make sure it is slotted.

Gems

Damage gems: Heavenly Tune, Sonic Vibration, Serenade of Courage. Cooldown gems: Heavenly Tune, Sonic Vibration, Rhythm Buckshot, Prelude of Storm, Wind of Music, Guardian Tune, Rhapsody of Light, Sonatina. Keeping buff and shield skills ready is the whole game.

Core loop

Maintain Heavenly Tune / Sonic Vibration for the AP buff, keep Brand (Sonatina) up, and weave shields on cooldown. Build meter, then pop Serenade of Courage when healthy or Salvation at one bar when the group is low. Use Technique Aria on big burst windows.

Gear & ability stone

Support set effect, Specialization / Swiftness accessories, and an ability stone that covers your needed engraving nodes. Manage mana with food and Focus runes.

New player friendliness

Medium. Bard is easy to play okay but mastery is in meter timing and positioning. Worth learning if you want the most valued support.
