Lost Ark Endgame in Tier 4: Kazeros Raid and Paradise Season 4
The Tier 4 endgame loop explained: Kazeros Raid Act 1 Extreme (1720/1750/1770), Paradise Season 4's Elysian/Crucible/Hell, Solo Mode and Serca Matchmaking, and your weekly gold routine.
Once you hit Item Level 1720, Lost Ark’s real game begins — a weekly loop of raids, seasonal content, and gold. This is the Western Tier 4 era (“Summer of Extremes,” live since July 15, 2026). Here is the loop, without the overwhelm.
Kazeros Raid: Act 1 Extreme
The headline Tier 4 raid is Kazeros Raid: Act 1 Extreme, an 8-player fight against Aegir, the Oppressor, with three difficulties:
- Normal: IL 1720+
- Hard: IL 1750+
- Nightmare: IL 1770+ (removes the individual revival system entirely — unforgiving)
Crucially, all three difficulties share one weekly roster entry — clear Normal and you cannot also clear Hard that week. Pick the highest difficulty your group can reliably clear, not just the one your IL permits. (Requirement: finish the main quest “The Way Forward.”)
Paradise Season 4 (July 15, 2026 – February 3, 2027)
Paradise is a solo seasonal track with its own gear and three connected activities:
- Elysian — a wave-based mode that drops Legacy of Paradise gear, raising your seasonal power and unlocking higher stages.
- Crucible — a timed solo boss challenge; your result affects stage progress and weekly class rankings.
- Hell — a descending dungeon where keys determine the run; deeper progress = stronger reward choices. Season 4 added new risk-reward mechanics on the descent.
Most standard build systems (accessories, gems, cards, Ark Passive) don’t fully apply inside Paradise — your power comes mostly from Legacy of Paradise gear. That makes it a great place for returning players with an unfinished main build to still progress.
Solo Mode and Serca Matchmaking
The July update expanded Solo Mode to Kazeros Act 4 (IL 1700) and Denouement (IL 1710) — relearn mechanics and keep weekly progression without Party Finder. Serca Matchmaking (IL 1710) is a no-fail, unlimited-revive mode for the Shadow Raid Serca, solo or grouped. Perfect for learning a raid before committing to a real party.
Your weekly routine
- Solo content (Paradise, Solo Mode) for steady progression.
- Kazeros Act 1 Extreme with your static or Party Finder — the gold source.
- Chaos Dungeons / Guardians for hone materials.
- Daily Rapport + Una’s Tasks for account bonuses (see our Rapport guide).
Gold priorities
Spend gold on the next hurdle, not every system: fix your core build (engravings, main gems), reach the next raid’s IL threshold, then optimize. (See our engravings guide for the build order.)
Mindset: Tier 4 is a weekly marathon, not a sprint. One clean raid clear + your dailies beats a panic grind. Learn the fights in Solo Mode first — the Extreme versions assume you already know the base mechanics.
