Lost Ark Glaivier T4 Build — Pinnacle vs Control Stance Play
Lost Ark Glaivier T4 build guide: Pinnacle vs Control Ark Passive routes, Flurry and Focus stance economy, stats, engravings, and the swap rotation explained.
Glaivier is the stance-swapping Martial Artist: blue Flurry stance (glaive) for wide, fast, mobile hits, red Focus stance (spear) for long, concentrated damage and a parry. The identity gauge fills passively and through hits, and every stance swap spends it for a damage buff that scales with how much you had banked. Tier 4 turns that identity into two very different Ark Passive routes.
Role in the party
Melee DPS with high mobility, strong AoE, a synergy (Flash Kick) and a counter (Thorn Jab), plus some of the best equalized-content damage in the game. You bring no party buffs — you bring numbers.
The two T4 routes
- Pinnacle — the dual-stance route. You keep both stances and live for the swap buff: fill the gauge in one stance, swap, repeat. Higher ceiling, higher APM, and the version that rewards a player who plans cooldowns two rotations ahead.
- Control — the Flurry-only route. It locks out Focus and pays you back with a big damage increase on Flurry skills, much faster meter gain, and reduced spacebar cooldown. Simpler, more consistent uptime, easier to execute while learning boss patterns.
Ark Passive direction
- Evolution: back-attack-heavy Crit and Swiftness for Control, or Crit with Specialization support for Pinnacle; then standard damage nodes.
- Enlightenment: commit fully to one branch — the Pinnacle nodes amplify the swap buffs, the Control nodes amplify Flurry skills. Splitting points across both is the classic Glaivier mistake.
- Leap: nodes that speed up or enhance your main combo skills and Hyper Awakening.
Engravings, gems, and gear
Control typically runs Grudge, Raid Captain, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline, and Ambush Master (back attacks are core). Pinnacle keeps Grudge and the crit package but leans more on swap-related uptime. Gems go on your biggest skills — Chain Slash, Half Moon Slash, Raging Dragon Slash, Starfall Pounce — with cooldown gems on the spenders. Material roadmap: gear honing T4 and Ark Grid.
Core loop
Build gauge with Flurry skills, swap to Focus for the heavy hitters, swap back before the buff falls. Weave in the synergy and counter on cooldown, keep a movement skill in reserve, and save the Awakening (Spear Meteor) for elite packs or burst windows.
New player friendliness
Medium. Control is quite learnable; Pinnacle is a commitment. Either way you are a melee class with narrow hitboxes on several skills — practice positioning before you bring her to Hard raids.
How this differs from our other Martial Artist guides
Glaivier is the only stance-swapper in the family: Scrapper plays around Tenacity Release, Wardancer around a stationary identity, and Soulfist around the Spirit loop. If you want flashy, high-ceiling melee play, this is the one.
