Lost Ark Gunslinger Build Guide (T4)

A veteran's take on the T4 Gunslinger: how Peacemaker and Time to Hunt play, stat priorities, engravings, and gem picks for Tier 4.

The Gunslinger is still the most “busy hands” DPS in Arkesia. Three weapons, one weapon wheel, and a damage profile that rewards people who actually like managing stances instead of facerolling. If you came from an older patch, the T4 loop is the same idea: build stacks, swap stances, dump them on your big hits. Here is how to set her up after the Dimensions Unbound overhaul.

The two builds

Peacemaker is the “real” Gunslinger fantasy. You cycle Handgun (for mobility and stacking), Shotgun (mid-range burst), and Rifle (long-range payoff). Most of your damage lives in a handful of skills, so you learn which buttons matter and ignore the rest. It plays mobile and consistent, but the animation locks are long and you are made of paper.

Time to Hunt swaps the Shotgun for Rose Blossom and leans entirely on Rifle + Pistol. It is easier to learn and less punishing to pilot, with burst concentrated on Rose Blossom, Bullseye, and Bullet Rain. If you are new to the class, start here, then graduate to Peacemaker once your hands keep up.

Either way, pick the class engraving that matches your stance plan and commit. Mixing halfway gives you the worst of both.

Stat priority

Crit first, then Specialization. You want to sit at roughly 95% crit once raid synergy, Pacifist, and Adrenaline are counted, then dump the rest into Spec for Identity uptime and damage. Swiftness is a trap unless a specific setup calls for it.

Combat engravings

  • Hit Master — free crit and crit damage, basically mandatory.
  • Adrenaline — stacks crit and attack power as you take hits; core for squishies.
  • Keen Blunt Weapon — big crit-damage spike for a class that already crits often.
  • Cursed Doll / Grudge — the standard greedy damage picks once the above are slotted.

Grab these from your ability stone and accessories. If you need the theory, our engravings guide breaks down how to read a stone.

Gems and Ark Grid

Gunslinger is gem-expensive because your best skills each want a damage gem, and you also want cooldown gems to keep the rotation flowing. See the T4 gems guide for which levels actually matter. On Ark Grid, an Order Core that feeds your chosen build is the goal; a Chaos Core is fine while you wait. The Ark Grid guide explains the Core Point thresholds.

Honest caveats

She is extremely squishy, has high APM, and a lot of her damage is in two or three skills, so dead time hurts. If that sounds like a chore, the classes guide has calmer options. If it sounds fun, welcome to the most stylish DPS in the game.
