Lost Ark Returning Player Guide (2026)
Your 2026 Lost Ark comeback plan: the Mokoko Buff, Base Camp Jump-Up Boost, Rapid Growth, Solo Mode, and a first-week checklist to get back to endgame.
Coming back to Lost Ark in 2026? The game has flattened the wall that used to keep returning players out. Between catch-up buffs and Solo Mode, you can be raid-ready fast if you follow the rail instead of grinding blind.
Step 1: claim the Mokoko Buff
If your roster is below item level 1720, you get the Mokoko Buff for 90 days — honing discounts and bonus rewards bundled together. Veterans even earn Honor points for clearing raids alongside Mokoko players, so nobody resents the boost. Turn it on before you hone anything.
Step 2: pick your Base Camp character
Mokoko Base Camp: Jump-Up Boost lets one character at item level 1660 or higher work a Warm-Up track with milestone rewards at 1670, 1680, 1690, and 1700, then continues toward 1720. You can change the chosen character once after finishing Warm-Up, so pick your main-or-alt deliberately.
Step 3: layer Rapid Growth
Rapid Growth runs alongside it for a selected character between 1660 and 1700, paying out at 1660, 1700, 1705, 1710, 1715, and 1720, with a gear chest and Order Astrogem chests. Important trap: a character already above 1700 cannot enter Rapid Growth, so assign it before other boosts push that alt over the line.
Step 4: use Solo Mode and simplified entry
Kazeros Act 4, the Final Day, and a forgiving Serca matchmaking mode are all solo-or-matched now — no static required. Raids also dropped the Main Story Quest gates, so item level alone is your only barrier. If you need a fresh character parked at the 1660 event floor, the South Rimeria II Powerpass gets you there.
Your first-week checklist
- Activate the Mokoko Buff and Base Camp; assign Rapid Growth to a 1660–1700 alt.
- Run your highest Chaos Dungeon / Kurzan operation and Guardian Raid daily — that is your honing fuel.
- Do weekly raids on every eligible character for gold (see the gold guide).
- Push the event character through 1700, then decide on 1720.
- Once near 1700, start the Ark Grid guide and gear honing roadmap.
