Souleater is an Assassin scythe user built around Soul Stones and a Possession / Edge meter. In T4 she is a high-demand DPS with lifesteal-style sustain, strong burst, and a non-positional kit that is easy to keep on the boss. Two valid routes — pick by feel.

Role in the party

You are a melee DPS who applies the party Damage Amplification synergy and pumps consistent or burst damage depending on your route. Souleater’s kit is non-positional, which makes her very comfortable on mobile bosses.

T4 build paths

  • Full Moon Harvester (burst): build the Possession Meter with Ghast, Stygian, and Deathlord skills, then enter Deathlord Mode for a few seconds of massive burst (cooldowns reset, enhanced Deathlord skills). Crit-focused.
  • Night’s Edge (sustained): fill the Edge Meter, get forced into Soul Snatch mode where Ghast skills get huge cooldown reduction and damage. Higher APM, smoother uptime.

Both engraving choices live as keystones in the Ark Passive Enlightenment tree.

Ark Passive direction

  • Evolution: Specialization-heavy (the common lean is roughly 70% Spec) with the rest into Crit. Souleater wants crit to land her burst.
  • Enlightenment: your class keystone plus nodes like Soul Resonance (a fourth Soul Stone) and Soul Guide (natural Possession generation) depending on route.
  • Leap: pick the Hyper Awakening that boosts your Deathlord / Ghast damage.

Gems

Full Moon: damage gems on your Deathlord spenders (Reaper’s Scythe, Guillotine Swing, Vestige, Fatal Finale) and cooldown gems on generators (Soul Drain, Astaros, Death Order) plus your synergy (Lunatic Edge). Night’s Edge: weight more toward Ghast damage and cooldown gems.

Core loop

Full Moon: rotate Stygian / Deathlord generators to fill the meter, then pop Deathlord Mode and unload your enhanced Deathlord skills. Night’s Edge: keep Deathlord skills on cooldown to fill Edge, ride Soul Snatch for Ghast damage, repeat. Keep Lunatic Edge (synergy + move speed) up.

Gear & ability stone

DPS set effect; Specialization / Crit accessories; ability stone for your keystone and combat engraving nodes. Generic DPS engravings (Grudge, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline, Raid Captain, Keen Blunt / Hit Master) round out the build.

New player friendliness

Medium. Full Moon is the easier entry point; Night’s Edge asks for tighter play. Either way Souleater is a great, in-demand DPS main.
