THE FINALS Season 12 best loadouts and weapons: S-tier Cloak Recon, FCAR Aggro, and Winch Aggro builds with the full class weapon list after VR removal.

THE FINALS Season 12 Best Weapons & Loadouts

Season 12 “Prime Time” flipped a few things you probably took for granted. The big one for loadouts: VR currency is gone. You no longer grind a separate currency to unlock guns. Weapons and gadgets now unlock with their parent Playstyle through Playstyle Tokens, or they’re just handed to you automatically. So if your loadout screen looks different after the October 20 update, that’s why — not a bug.

The three S-tier starters

If you want the meta without overthinking it, these three carry most lobbies right now:

  • Light — Cloak Recon (S-tier): XP-54 or LH1, Cloaking Device, Gateway, Glitch Grenade, H+ Infuser. Light sits at 175 HP now (up from 150), so you live a little longer but still can’t tank. Cloak in, Gateway out.
  • Medium — FCAR Aggro (S-tier): FCAR, Healing Beam, Defibrillator, Jump Pad, Goo Grenade. Medium is still the forgiving body type at 250 HP, and this kit heals, repositions, and holds its own in a gunfight.
  • Heavy — Winch Aggro (S-tier): ShAK-50 or SA1216, Winch Claw, RPG-7, Dome Shield, C4. Heavy dropped to 325 HP (from 350) but moves faster. Winch a guy off the cashout and let your team clean up.

The full weapon pool by class is below if you want to experiment.

Light weapons

XP-54, LH1, 93R, ARN-220, M11, SR-84. The XP-54 and LH1 are the safe picks; the M11 rewards aggressive hipfire, and the SR-84 is your sniper if you’d rather hold angles.

Medium weapons

AKM, FCAR, FAMAS, P90, CL-40. FCAR is the meta rifle, AKM is the reliable default, and the CL-40 is a grenade launcher for softening objectives and grouped enemies.

Heavy weapons

ShAK-50, SA1216, KS-23, M60, M134. ShAK-50 is the anti-everything rifle, SA1216 deletes close range, the M60 lays down suppression, and the M134 minigun is pure panic fuel.
