THE FINALS Heavy Build Guide (Season 12)

THE FINALS Heavy build guide for Season 12: Winch, Mesh Shield, Charge N Slam, and Goo Gun setups to anchor points with the new 325 HP Heavy.

THE FINALS Heavy Build Guide (Season 12)

Heavy is the anchor. Season 12 dropped your health from 350 to 325 and sped you up a bit, so you’re not quite the immovable wall you were — but you’re still the guy who wins the point by standing on it.

Winch Aggro

The meta Heavy. Winch Claw pulls an enemy toward you (or pulls yourself to them), and once they’re close the ShAK-50 or SA1216 finishes it. Winch a Light off the cashout, yank a Medium into your team, then delete. Pair with RPG-7 and C4 from the best loadouts guide.

Mesh Shield

Throws up a portable wall your team shoots through. You become the cover. Great on defense and when your team needs to cross open ground. Hold the shield, let your Medium beam through it.

Charge N Slam

Charge forward and slam the ground, knocking everyone nearby on their ass. It’s also a movement tool — chain it with a Jump Pad to cross the map. Use it to break into a held cashout or to escape a bad fight.

Goo Gun

Sprays solid goo you can walk on, wall with, or trap people in. Build a ramp to a rooftop, seal a doorway, or make a quick bunker. Goo plus the destruction guide philosophy lets you reshape the arena faster than the enemy can adapt.

Heavy’s job is simple: take the space and refuse to leave. Dome Shield (600 HP but it crumbles at 100 per second now) is your panic bubble when things go sideways. Want the full class picture? The classes guide compares all three. Mediums who want to support you are in the Medium guide, and if you’re just starting, hit the beginner guide.

Learn where to hold on each map — the Monaco, Seoul, and Skyway Stadium guides cover the best power positions.

Don’t sleep on your Reserve either. A Goo Grenade in Reserve lets you build on the fly, and an APS Turret blanks enemy projectiles when you’re holding a lane. Against a Cloak Light, run Recon Senses or just pre-fire common flanks — Heavies lose to patience, not to aim. Check the movement guide so you’re not the stationary target everyone farms.
